Walker Check-In: 9:00 AM
Walk Begins: 10:00 AM

Walk distance is approximately 5K (roughly 3.1 miles)

Security

Prior to entering the Intrepid Pier, there is a security check point. To expedite the process, try not to bring too many personal belongings with you. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Parking Information:

The Segal Visitors Center Garage and the NU Campus Parking lot are available for this event, and they’re located next to each other. There is a 7-10-minute walk from the parking lot to the Walk site. Arrive early to allow yourself extra time to Walk over or contact us about being dropped off at the Walk site.

Checking In

All attendees should be pre-registered online – www.lupuswalkchicago.org
Volunteer Check-in begins: 8:00 am
Located at the Registration Table, ask for Joanna Zelkowska
Walker Check-in begins: 9:00 am
Located at the Registration Tent – Largest tent on site.

Donation Drop-off

If you have additional donations to turn in, you can do so in the Registration Tent located between Towers 1 and 2. Cash, check, and credit card donations are all accepted.

Fundraising Incentives

On Walk Day, qualifying participants can pick up their Purple Lei and Chicago Walk T-Shirt. The Water Bottle, Baseball Cap, and Quarter Zip Pullover will be shipped to qualifying participants after the Walk. Volunteers will direct to where you can pick up your Walk Day incentives. Fundraising must be recorded online before Saturday, June 13th or handed in to the Registration Tent on Walk Day to qualify for the items Check out our Fundraising Incentives & Perks here. Fundraising prizes are awarded to individuals, not teams. Depending on your fundraising total, only one item of the Water Bottle, Baseball Cap, and Quarter Zip Pullover can be redeemed.

Photo, Video, Film, Other

At the Chicago Walk with Us to Cure Lupus, there will be photography, filming or videotaping or otherwise recording for future use. By participating in the Chicago Walk with Us to Cure Lupus, you agree to the Lupus Research Alliance to use photos, video, film or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose.

Walk & Route

Walk distance is approximately 5K (roughly 3.1 miles).
The Walk Route & Site is stroller and wheelchair accesible.
Dogs are permitted at the Chicago Walk.
